PARIS | Coldplay, Louvre + Moulin Rouge

Paris, the city of love, the capital of fashion and one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

I had recently visited the city for a long weekend visit, as I had previously visited as a young teenager, my primary goal for the weekend was to actual understand the great architecture and maybe even visit a few museums and appreciate it!!

We had decided to save money and opt for the overnight bus options from London Victoria to Paris city centre, it was extremely cheaper than bother the Eurostar and flying over, but I have to say if you can’t sleep easy on buses (definitely spend the extra money!).

Anyway, the main reason that we headed down to Paris was to see the amazing Coldplay in action at The Stade de France on the Saturday night, something that I had dreamed of doing for a long time!!

Upon arrival at the Stade de France we received the famous glow up wristbands which really make you feel involved in the performance.  There were two support bands, one of which a friend of a friend was the drummer for (small world, and additionally the awesome swedish band Tove Lo (also highly recommended to see live!).

After which, the sun was a dusk and Coldplay came onto the stage, and just as imagined their whole set was incredible!!  Within the first song, Chris Martin ran down the stage, whilst a rainbow of colours errupted from the stage, INCREDIBLE!!  I couldn’t even tell you exactly what songs they sang because I was soo in awe, however, it is definitely a must see if you haven’t already!!

Also, the Stade de France has this app which allows you to order drinks from your seat, why do we not have that in England?? Come on guys!!

On the Sunday and the Monday in Paris, we also did some sightseeing, including: the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, L’arc de Triumpe + best but not last The Moulin Rouge.

It is fair to say that it was a quick 3/4 days, but saw some incredible things.

Coldplay + Paris =  A MUST!!!

Here are a few photos from my time in Paris!!

Hope you enjoyed this post, don’t forget to follow my blog for some awesome things coming this year!!
